H.E. Gangchen Tulku Rinpoche has very strong connections to H.H. Panchen Rinpoche. He is the reincarnation of the second Abbot (throne holder Panchen Zangpo Tashi 1410-1478) of Panchen Rinpoche’s personal Monastery Tashilhunpo in Shigatse. Here is a picture of Gangchen Rinpoche in front of the stupa containing the relics of Zangpo Tashi, Gangchen Rinpoche’s own predecessor, housed in Tashilhunpo.
