The upkeep of this website is based solely on donations. For all of us who maintain this website, our work is really a labor of love. Any funds raised will go towards supporting our work to spread Dorje Shugden across the world, principally through this website.

Part of the funds raised also goes towards the translation of rare and valuable sacred texts (such as Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche’s texts on Dorje Shugden) and the creation of new, innovative ways of spreading Dorje Shugden’s practice such as the illustrated video of Dorje Shugden's history, designing of new brochures and so forth.

Donate towards the Dorje Shugden monastery, Shar Gaden

Since His Holiness the Dalai Lama has said that all Dorje Shugden practitioners must separate from the monasteries and the general populace of non-Dorje Shugden practitioners in all ways, Shar Gaden Monastery was formed.

All Tibetans who do not practice Dorje Shugden cannot associate with those who do – this was the strict decree. As a result many Tulkus, Geshes, senior practitioners and monks had no choice but to sadly leave their respective monasteries out of respect for His Holiness the Dalai Lama's decree.

They gathered together to form Shar Gaden Monastery. This monastery was not formed to counter or oppose His Holiness the Dalai Lama in any way, but for the monks to have the freedom to practice as they have been, as instructed by their root gurus.

Without any support from either the Tibetan Government-in-exile or their own Tibetan community, these Shugden practitioners have nowhere to go and no source of food or other basic necessities. They are totally dependent upon donations to survive and rebuild their lives.
