The Shar Gaden Monastery World Peace Tour shares cultural and religious activities to promote happiness and peace around the world. IT serves to increase awareness of the monastery as a Buddhist University, as well as raise much needed funds for the support of the Sangha at Shar Gaden.

During the tour, the monks will showcase a broad range of activities such as the exquisite and deeply symbolic construction and dissolution of Tibetan sand mandalas, traditional dances and rituals which provide a rare insight of daily monastic life.

The monastery has opened the door to the public to invite the monks of Shar Gaden for the purposes of teachings, blessings, rituals, pujas and to give empowerment.
